CBD were engaged to design and deliver 2 x new display suites for City Freeholds located on Level 8 & 9, 56 Clarence St, Sydney. City Freeholds seeked a sharp, innovative and design savvy space to at-tract new tenants. This new workplace offers a mixture of spaces for both individual and office specific usage, appealing to tenants who want a space that encourages both work and play. The ‘design principles’ that have driven the concept include;
_a space that intuitively supports flexible working. with intelligent adjacencies and nearby amenities
_seeking to provide strong destinations in each workplace, providing points of collaboration/ activation
_creating a spacious and usable workspace through providing greater distance between workstations, distinct paths of travel & clear lines of site through the workspace
_maximising natural light by planning all built space to the front of the tenancy & positioning work points close to perimeter glazing, creating a bright and vibrant workspace
