An extraordinary fusion of an iconoclastic Toile de Joy print from the 18th Century alongside 3D sculptures of wild lions, tigers and even life-size elephants awaits you at the new Sydney pop-store by fashion house, Dior.
This Castlereagh Street retail space is turning heads as much for the incredible tout as for the fashion. And rightly so! Construction by Design, the creators of this amazing space, have taken a design reinterpreted by Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, and brought it to life across all areas of the store. In classic red and blue, the print features on walls, oors and creeps towards ceilings, spreading as if the branches themselves are reaching out across the space.
The animal sculptures, many of them life-size, are an incredible addition to this already amazing scene Construction by Design, alongside Dior, has set a standard for shop fitting that most can only hope to emulate. The attention to detail, the understated lighting, the restrained design features that allow the print to reign supreme… all combine to create the ‘wild’ scene you’ll see at Dior
